Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff On TRS - Boys Talk, Masti, Sehat & More | The Ranveer Show
You know people love your dad on social media. Oh yeah yeah yeah. Meme culture. Dad is hitting you on memes. Maoshi! How do you process both the meme cultures? I find it very funny. Someone just sent me a meme. Me and Salman are dancing with leaves. I'm one of those meme favourites. Are you a little girl? Are you a little girl? I don't know how that sort of picked up though, which is crazy. What was your most weird fan interaction? Once I was continuously shaking hands with someone and suddenly I saw my hand was bleeding. Then I realised that one of them had stuck a blade in between his nails. And he cut his hand. Maybe he wanted to do black magic on you. Black magic? That's what you keep thinking. He had a blade stuck in his hand and he cut his hand. Maybe he wanted to do black magic on you. Black magic? You keep thinking about this. He thinks about black magic. What will happen after death? I saw you, this question is too much. What will happen after death? Do you feel happy or stressed before the release of the film? There are phases, I'll be honest with you. Right now I'm feeling upset because I hit two boxes back to back. I gave a high five because you're openly vulnerable. Whenever you curse, I get happy. The soul inside me gets happy. It feels like I'm sitting in front of Akshay Kumar of Hira Pheri. Listen to this Arabic song. I'm not dancing Why should I give an intro for this podcast? I'll just say that this is our first two guest podcast And this new phase has started very special Because today we have Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar sir Let's have fun in today's conversation With these two brothers With the souls of energy You also enjoy And definitely Go and watch Bade Mia Chote Mia in the theater On 10th April Their new film is being released in the theater It's a dangerous duo It's a dangerous podcast The film will also be dangerous too. But now enjoy this very special episode of TRS. Welcome to the first threesome of TRS. Friends, today we will have fun with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Hello, sir. Hello. Hello, sir. How are you? How are you, brother? I just came from shooting. I was very excited. I have watched many of your pod shows. And I am happy that I am here. Obviously with Tiger. So here we are. Very very happy. Are you both comfortable? Absolutely. I have slept. I have slept. This is my power nap time usually around afternoon. This is good. I wish I was as busy as you. You are busy, you are not doing this job. Not as much as you sir. Okay, it's my habit. Do you both compete with each other? No. We usually play in the same team. So competition on screen, off screen. Actually when we play volleyball or cricket, suppose he is the captain or I am the captain, so the first thing to win is to take this or that. Have you seen his football game? Yes, I have seen it. But literally, I haven't seen it there. But I know he plays football like... We have shown him some videos. People get scared of him. Really? Yes. Everyone says, good Tigers here. Thank God Tigers are not here. Because my position is left back and I would have had to defend you. I was happy knowing that you weren't there for that one game. Oh cool, okay. With all the stars. But he is a legendary football player in the Mumbai street scene. If it wasn't in the movies, someone would have been playing sports. You too? If it wasn't in the movies, someone else would have been doing sports. You too? If it wasn't in the movies, I would have been in the army or navy or air force. Really? Yes. Was that the plan? That was the plan. My dad was in the army. So, I had planned to go here. But then destiny changed. It came in the movies. Do you know what is this? This is for both of you, especially for Tiger. This is also in video games. Yes. What is it called? This is Goku. It's a very famous's a famous anime character. I don't know all this, I know Wheatgrass. Okay, so he's been taught hard work by the whole generation.
Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff On TRS - Boys Talk, Masti, Sehat & More | The Ranveer Show
I would also say that you, in all your interviews, there's always talk of discipline and hard work. Are you really like that? I don't need to lie. Whatever I have made today, I have made it with discipline. I don't consider myself a great actor. I have discipline. And I believe that, I do have discipline. I heard this in a Jitender Ji interview. He used to say that if you want to survive in the industry, you need to be disciplined. Be a producer's man. Be a producer's actor. You'll be fine with 10-20 flops, but if you're with a producer, you'll be fine. You can see this with any actor. You can see this with Bachchan, Jeetu, and many others who have always been with the producer. So discipline is one thing which I believe is the most important thing. Do you also chill with discipline? I do chill. My chilling is more like playing sports. That is my chilling. Like we play this. After a long time, I have someone who plays sports with me. Otherwise, no actor plays much. But after this, I enjoy playing. We play volleyball, cricket, football. We play Goolyinda. Did you play football with him? No, I... Sir, mostly we play volleyball and cricket. Coco, Kapadi. What's his skill in cricket? He's damn good. He's an opening batsman and bowler. So, you can say that he's an all-rounder for sure. Because I believe that sport reveals character. Do you agree? When you're playing football. I believe so as well. He never gives up. He's very competitive also. So, definitely. I think that never give up attitude, that perseverance. I think after watching Sir's game, you get to know that he's that kind of a guy. Actually, I'm just asking that what is the character reveal of Akshay Kumar when you work with him and when you play sports with him? What have you learnt about him in the last one year? Man! Because we need four hours for that. We don't have that much time to speak unfortunately. It's hard to pinpoint one thing. There's so much to learn. I'm still learning. But I can say that... Discipline is the obvious one. You know... Time is the key, sir. So if he comes at eight sharp, that's when it starts, you've got to start rolling because he scheduled his lifestyle so well. Whether it is 7 to 2 and then 2 onwards, he'll have time for everything else, whether it's his exercise or another shift or meetings or whatever. So I think time management is something that I really take back from sir. I would say that about you also. No, I have ups and downs. What happens is, my cycle is such that I need a certain amount of sleep to function. So if I don't sleep 8 hours, then everything goes for a toss. So supposing if I sleep at 11-11.30, I'll have to wake up at 7.30. And then I might go a little late to shoot. Because I just don't function otherwise. Before shooting, I just said one thing. I did a podcast with you 3-4 years ago. I feel like I'm meeting a different Tiger Shroff today. You're very relaxed in a very positive way. I think sir is with me, that's why I'm relaxed. If he's older than me, then he's younger or small, it's not a burden on me. Wow! I want to meet you both again for a podcast shoot in the future. Yes, we will definitely do it. Is there a difference in podcast? Yes. What happens? In podcast, the connection of human beings is there. Here I met you for 2 hours, both of you are releasing a film. The professionals of the film industry are available only in that phase. I get a connection with the audience. Or I get to meet you for two hours, and your film is being released. The professionals of the film industry are only available in those phases. So, do you get angry in the podcast? I get angry openly in the podcast. Then do it openly. Have you ever been beaten up? What does it mean? There are two meanings of beating up. First you decide which one you want to beat up. Pre-film industry career? No, no. At that time, there were a lot of fights. Then Khalsa was in college. Then Khalsa, yes. Then there were fights there too. So, there was a lot of fights. What did you fight about? About the girl. Sometimes someone said something to a friend, it happened for that. Sometimes someone teased the girlfriend of a friend, then I beat someone. Did you know martial arts then? I was learning new things during school. But actually I did proper training after college. Going to Thailand? Yes, absolutely. Do you remember that phase? Yes, I remember it a lot. I always remember it. We talk about it sometimes. His favorite place is Thailand. He says, I also go to Thailand to chill out. Where? Where do you go? I go to Phuket. There is a training camp there. So, I like water. I like the beaches. Training camp for martial arts? Yes. That's why we have kept the Gokus here. Because it's martial arts based. What changes in a person's mind because of martial arts? Because I feel it was my parents' best decision for me. Amongst many best decisions, this was the number one best decision. You did martial arts? Judo. And it fully fixed my brain. I feel I was a bit of a Sankhi before that. But from 5th standard to 12th standard, arts? Judo. And it fully fixed my brain. I feel that I was a little Sankhi before that. But from 5th standard to 12th standard I have done Judo. And I have gained a lot of discipline. Discipline definitely is number one. It instills a... It brings in one's demeanor. I think... It channelizes a lot of things. Like for example, if you are restless, if you're hyper, I think martial arts channelizes that energy and makes you very... One with yourself, with nature, grounded, centered. So, at least for me, I treat martial arts like that. It's like meditation. Yes. You become mindful, you stay in one place. Yes. And just focused really on what I have to do. I think martial arts, discipline, self-discipline, self-defense, I feel that in our country, it should be compulsory. That every person should at least do it for 3 person, whether it's a boy or a girl, should at least do it for 3 years. And a lot of things will change. Because a lot of things are taught. Kicks, fights, blocks, moves, kata's, all of this is fine. But a lot of things that are taught backwards, that bring self-discipline, that is very essential for the society. I would actually love for Tiger to add to this question. I have a question for you and please bro, add your own bit. You and I are almost of the same age. And all the friends we have of our age, one common conversation is about health. Because everyone's health is either getting worse or getting injuries. Or a little weakness is increasing as compared to age 22-23. I don't know if you have, I don't know actually about your body. You are a little Goku type. But generally speaking injuries increase. It's why sports stars after the age of 30. It's a fact. Because naturally as humans we tend to deteriorate post a certain age. But again it depends on your lifestyle. Like if you know Lebron James or of course Cristiano Ronaldo. The way they both kept their health in the forefront. Focusing more on recovery as opposed to actual training and actual self-reliance. Recovery is more important to them now post the 30s, 35s and that's the game in long term. How many meals are you eating in a day? How much are you sleeping? What are the methods? Are you icing everyday? Are you doing your flexibility? Are you doing your breathing? Are you taking vitamin D? Are you doing the biohacking? You know in terms of are you grounding? Are you taking in the sunlight in the morning? So I do a lot of research on all these things and try to apply as I can on my daily life. Because... It's very... If you're really one with your body, you realize... What is the difference between me 10 years back and me now. So... To be honest with you, I don't feel as... As explosive as I used to be. For example, if we talk about sports, if I have to run from point A to point B at a certain time, I'm not as fast as I used to be. But it would be hard to tell the difference. Whereas in 10 years, a lot can decrease if you don't really put in that effort into your body. decrease if you don't really put in that effort into your body. So that's pretty much it really. I think it's just a matter of all these things, all these aspects coming together. And that's what matters in the long run. I feel he serves the personification of testosterone. Yeah, exactly. The alpha. I mean, testosterone comes out of your voice. It's like, it's like, you don't have two, you have four. It sometimes seems like that. So? Absolutely. That's like that sometimes. So? Absolutely. Nice. I'm in the cycle of six. I remember your 90s chest hair, your voice and one more core memory of mine. In Garam Masala, your shirtless scene, your body looked very healthy. And then you used to say that you didn't do weight training. So, I always thought in my childhood that say that you didn't do weight training. So, in my childhood, I used to think that how such a body is made without weight training? Then this theory of 4 came to my mind. I feel that you are not a normal guy. You are an extra guy inside that one guy. Tell me, how are you so strong? How am I strong? Actually, I have kept what I learned in childhood, I have kept it in my mind. Actually, I am sure that your parents, your parents, everyone's parents have also said, Son, come on, you have to go to school early in the morning, go to sleep early, come on. You must have heard this. Yes. Then you must have heard this too, come on, it's morning, wake up. Go for a run, exercise, and do your homework. Eat breakfast, go to school. Then we grew up. We thought we were free. Then we started partying at night. We started going out. Then our lifestyle started changing. It's very surprising when someone asks a question like, You go to sleep early? So, stupid, if I don't sleep early, when will I sleep? Will a person sleep early at night? You wake up early. If I don't wake up early, what should I do? A person… There is night, there is day to sleep, he is there in the morning. So, I don't understand this. Don't you think I should be asking someone this question? You are sleeping late, what's the matter? Rather, it is asked that you are sleeping early, what's the matter? So, I have kept my basics in my mind. Routines. I have kept my basics in my mind which I was taught in my childhood. That night is for sleeping, day is for getting up and working. Then I have kept this routine in my mind. I am not saying that partying is wrong. Go to a party. If someone goes on Saturday, then it's fine. But I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. This is also the same. Once or twice we went to a wrap up party and both were looking at each other. When will it end? Quickly wrap up. Cut the cake. We tell the producer to cut the cake. Quickly go. Go to sleep. That's why many bros feel connection with you. After a long time I have met someone like me after a long time. I see his face, he is taking a bath in the party. He is looking around, when will it end? When will we go to sleep? So, it is most, to catch the basics is the most important. And we used to get food early. We used to eat at 6.30 or 7.30. And we still have that habit. How did you maintain your body? What kind of exercise do you do? I do freehand. Push ups, pull ups, squat. Push ups, pull ups, hanging, hanging. Have you ever done weight training? Very rarely. I used to force him to do it. On my schedule, London, outdoor. He used to lift it but very rarely. But may I tell you that you were mentioning natural strength. I have never seen anyone with the natural strength he has. What I mean by natural strength is without even going to a gym and lifting weights. I made him lift weights which is not normal for a beginner. Nowhere is he a beginner but you know I think if one moves his body. Sir, will you be 80 to 83 kgs or 85 kgs? Umar? No, wait, weight, weight. Yes, 82-83. So, to pull your body weight of 82 kgs for about 100 repetitions, you know, and when I mean 100 repetitions, I don't mean at a go, but we break it up. 10 reps or 10 sets. Then, you know, I mean, just maintain that at the end of a weight training workout. Not everyone can do that. And Akshay sir doing that, you know, is... It just goes to show that age is just a number and he is aging backwards. When we play sports, when he is jumping for a smash, he will jump off the ground, he has a vertical leap for at least, you know, above till my shoulder or till my weight like much above my waist because i've seen it like live not many people can do that man not many people can do that and i would seem like i'm talking like guys my age i've not seen do that so that's what do you see with guys your age not that for sure and i think For sure. And I think we get complacent especially with people who have seen success like Sir. Victory tends to defeat them. What I mean by that is when we win, celebrate, make it a scene, this that. Sir's a, okay we won that, we move on. You know it's just one after another, one thing after another, I just look at the finish line and keep going. Don't look at the left, don't look at the right, just the finish line. It's the same aim. Just keep going forward, keep working, keep working. Consistency and I think that's his secret ingredient. Just never stops. Sir, there is a theory for you. Which is discussed on Reddit forums. And please correct me if I am wrong. I am trying to know your psychology. Yes, sure. Okay. Are you still a middle class guy? Who is still thinking that you haven't achieved anything. Despite being Akshay Kumar. No, absolutely. What are you inside? I was telling you... You asked me before the podcast, do you go to school? I was telling you that every month... I don't have any work to go to school. But every month, I go to school. At night. Yes. I mean, I mean in the morning, actually. When I woke up at 4 in the morning, I took out the car. Every month, I go to the place where I used to live. Kholiwada? In Sain Kholiwada. Then in Bandra East, there was a house of mine. Then at school. And there is a church there. So, at Don Bosco's church, sometimes the watchman there allows it. He knows. And but this feeling that I came from here and a bonding with him is very important for me. And all my friends, they are all my special friends in the film industry. This is also our friendship from last year. And otherwise, most of my friends are from my school. So they keep me bonded, grounded with me. And I feel more secure with them. You become humble? That's why you go there? I'm not saying that you're arrogant. I'm just asking, is this a humbling mechanism? I don't know what psychology is in this. But I like going there. Okay. I like going to my old house. Like, my old house was on rent. Yes. We used to pay 500 rupees rent. So, I've heard that building is breaking down. What do they call it? They rebuilt it. The building is being demolished. So I have told him that I want to buy a third floor. Because I used to live on the third floor. So it is a two-bedroom flat. It is being built. So I have told him that I want to buy that. What? There is no one there. I don't want to live there. I don't want to do anything, but I want to keep it. Because I still remember when we used to live, my dad used to go to work from 9-6 and return at 6. My sister and I used to stand at the window and watch dad come. So that visual is still there. And there was a tree of pears down there. I used to pluck them. So whenever I go there, I still pick up the pears and the Anand flower. So I honestly want to be in touch with that. More than anything else. That is me. That is where I come from. If we go to Delhi, we have to go to Chandni Chowk. Have you ever been to Donbass? Great tough. I used to play basketball there. You used to play there? Yes. We used to play every Sunday. Do you do anything like this for psychological training? I remember last time when we talked, it was all about discipline. And honestly, as a bro, I want to say one thing. Yes bro. I thought you were putting a lot of pressure on yourself. Positive pressure. But like pressure for excellence. That pressure is still there. Fully? Yeah. But I believe that pressure is a privilege in a way. It's a blessing to have that pressure on you. I feel responsible for looking after my family. And I love doing that. I love... being able to give to my mother and father. you know, being able to give to my mother and father. And that's pretty much, you know, the biggest high for me. Yeah. You know, people love your dad on social media. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. And meme culture. You both are meme culture. Dad is hitting you on memes. Maa o shee. So, I just wanted to ask how you both process meme culture. Because honestly both of you are, and I would put myself also there, like, we are part of meme culture at this point. How do you process it? Because in my eyes, this has become a new age PR. If any meme culture reaches you, it's a very positive sign according to me. You both look at it this way or get frustrated? How do you guys look at meme culture? You tell us sir. Because you've been around since the 90s where it used to happen through PR magazines and newspapers. I think that's still true. But now there's a big factor of social media. And within social media, meme culture. Like your money money meme. Yes. From what perspective do you see all this? The meme culture. I think it's funny. I find it very funny. People... Someone just sent me a message. It's a meme. Me and Salman are dancing with leaves. He wanted to say that I'm very happy. So he sent this. I have seen that one. So I think it's a way of, it's funny. I find it very funny. And but there are so many memes of, especially of Hera Pheri. I have not been around very long in the industry. Obviously nowhere close to Sir. But as far as I remember, from my first film... From my first picture, I... I'm one of those meme favourites. So there are a lot of memes on... On a lot of my movies. But initially, I used to wonder... Why are people doing this and making fun of me and this and that. But then after a while, I started enjoying it. And... People just said that, you know, it's good that you made an impact if you're a part of the meme culture. I mean, you're definitely making an impression. So I said, okay, fine. Now, even during the shooting, if you give a shot, it'll be like, this will become a meme. I mean, I haven't been able to grasp it till now. How it will become a meme. I haven't been able to understand how this meme will be made. What does it mean? How do memes get made? I'll give you a social media theory. People get offended because of comedy in general. That's why they say that comedy movies are becoming less in the world. The need for comedy... So I think we'll talk about this too. Why is comedy becoming less? Sir, because... Why did so many people bring in woke culture? I think that woke culture is also ending. Now, it's about to end. Is it ending? I feel so. And I feel that there will be a return of comedy. But in this past 10 years, the need for laughter was fulfilled through meme culture. I think it will come now. There will be many comedy films by next year. I'm doing 2-3. Which ones? I'm doing Welcome, Houseful, and maybe Hira Pheri. Okay. So, I enjoy it. Okay. So the... It's fun, man. Comedy... It feels weird when people get very strict. And what is this? You're making fun of him, you're making fun of her. It's not a joke, I'm just doing a... A part. I'm just playing a character. So I find it very... But the opposite, man. I feel that... At least an observation I have seen I am doing a lot of reels with Sir as you guys have been seeing on social media Sir has these brilliant ideas for these reels and people are really enjoying the fact that we are just making fun of ourselves sometimes and we are you know very cool and secure about the whole thing. You know the term going around that the reels are coming out of the ass and people are liking it. Yes, yes. It's very raw humor. So that's what I'm trying to say. I think if you can take a laugh at yourself I think why not? I think people are enjoying that as well you know. Especially all the fans of Sir, my fans. I think they really enjoy that banter and they really enjoy the fact that we are making fun of each other. So I think people, I don't think it's the end of comedy. I think everybody needs a laugh especially in this day and age. I think audiences are dying for a great comedy. I want to say one more thing about, sir. At least for a whole generation, sir. And don't mind the language, okay? But when you do comedies, you get a bad vibe from inside. I'm saying this with a lot of respect. Basically, you get a bad vibe from inside. Crazy, mad, crazy. You know what I'm saying. Yes, yes. It know what I am saying. Yes, yes, it's like Wicked Sunny. Yes, yes. I think Wicked Sunny is the closest to your comedic vibe also. How are you actually? I mean, I'll tell you. Yes. If you want to have fun, then do it with pressure. If you want to eat, then eat with pressure. If you want to sleep, then as he is saying, sleep with pressure for 8-9 hours. If you want to exercise, then do it with pressure. Sleep with pressure for 8-9 hours. If you are tired, then sleep with pressure. That's it. That's what we have learnt. And we keep doing it. And I understand what you are trying to say. It's like being a scoundrel. But it's been like this since childhood. People like it. You have a little boy school humor. That connects. Have you heard Tiger's OG line? You know what I'm saying. Tiger don't mind this. No, no, go for it bro. Do you get pissed off? No, not at all. Not at all. Not at all. Depends what line he was saying. What do you think? Choti Bachchi ho kya that one? I don't know how that sort of picked up though which is crazy. Not at all, depends what line he was saying. What do you think? Choti Bachchi ho kya that one? I don't know how that sort of picked up though which is crazy. It became hyper viral. It was a very random line. I think it's very good because PR and social media is changing so fast that people can't process what's happening, why is it happening and often we take memes negatively. But memes are the biggest PR opportunity in the modern day. You can hack algorithms on social media. Social media strategy has become meme oriented. In fact, the meme pages that run, they are some of the highest social media earners. Oh okay. So do you think I would say a film when it releases, there is no need to put in voting? Mixed marketing is needed. But more money should go to meme culture and social media. If you tap the audience on social media, at least, urban centers will be tapped. We are having a very nerdy conversation. It's interesting. I'd also like to know. I'm not saying that we do the whole podcast on this. It's just a few lines. People can do it. They'll like it. No problem. Do this. It's only a couple of lines. People can do it, they'll like it. No problem, do it. It's your podcast. Okay, you can ask anything. Yes, ask anything. What was your most strange fan interaction? Once I was continuously shaking hands with someone. Yes. And a lot of people were standing there. And suddenly I saw my hand was bleeding. And so that, then I realized that one of them had stuck a blade in between his nails. So he cut his hand. And cutting a blade takes time to find out. A little more than 2-3 seconds. So, and it is in madness they do it. In madness they do it. Or I don't know what makes them, what triggers them to do something like that. Maybe they wanted to do black magic on you. Black magic, but you keep thinking the same. He he wanted to do black magic on you. Black magic? But you keep thinking about this only. He thinks about magic, black magic. Theory. What will happen after death? I saw you have a lot of questions like this. What will happen after death? Okay, should we talk about happiness? Enough. Enough. Now you are made. First to Tiger. Yes bro. Do you feel happy before the release of the film or stress or tension? This is the question for you. There are phases, I'll be honest with you. Right now I'm feeling very happy because I've hit two boxes back to back. I'm right now in a phase where I'm very much on edge, a little antsy. Right now I'm in a phase where I'm very much on edge, a little antsy. Although I'm very happy because recently I saw the film with Sir. I think we're very proud of the product we've shot no matter what the result is. So faith in the product, very very happy to have worked with Sir. But the reality is that obviously I'm feeling very upset right now because I am in that phase right now in my career where you know I'm feeling a certain way but again that being said very very happy to you know be a part of this film. I gave a high five because you are openly vulnerable. Whenever you abuse me, he gets happy. I didn't curse. He said it's a blunder. According to him, he enjoyed it a lot. He was out on the blunder. He used to say, now he says ***. He used to get angry. His inner soul gets happy. It feels like I'm in front of Akshay Kumar of Hira Pheri. But tell us, tell me. What should I tell? I want to say one thing openly. It feels really good to sit in front of you. Thank you very much. I visualized this a lot. Come whenever you're free. Really? Yes. You said that you're not a friend of the film industry, you're just a tiger. I can be your friend. Okay, bro. I'm happy but you'll have to play games with you. Done. Done. Done. We'll have to talk nicely. We also increase the abuse. Isn't it easy? Ask him. We increase the abuse. But we maintain friendship. Yes. Do you know why I want to hang out with you? Yes. It's said that the people you hang out with, you eventually become like them. Absolutely. Especially if it's older bros. Will you really hang out? I'm not joking. As soon as it ends, we'll take your number. We talk to each other. You'll know. In every 3-4 days, you'll come and play volleyball, play cricket, have fun. Practice Karate? Absolutely. Okay. We do exercises together. Okay. Okay Karate? Yes, we do. We do exercises together. Okay, back to the podcast. I liked it because I had visualized it for a long time that I will sit in front of you. I just wanted to know your psychology. Love you Akshay Kumar. Thank you. Let's go on. Do you feel tension before the release of the film? I have seen 16-20 flops in a row. I don't have that much. I have worked very hard. We have worked very hard. The result, whatever the result is. I have given 16 beats in a flop. This is my third flop. I have 17 more. Is there an element of tension? Yes, there is. As far as I know myself, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. If the film is good, it's great. If not, we make it beautiful. We make more films from Monday and try to make more. Since your career started, have you ever been frustrated with fame? Once I was frustrated and thought about it. Then I saw that as soon as I got down, I had five cars parked. I thought, how can I be frustrated with five cars? I still remember that I used to take 255 buses to teach karate to people. So, what is there to be frustrated about? All the frustration was due to the cars. Then, it switched in your mind. Then, it took 5 minutes and it switched. Is there any other downside of fame? Especially after so many years... Like, it is said that in the game of fame, relevance is what matters. And to maintain this relevance, many people's mental health gets affected. So I won't take my pressure and spoil my health. It matters the most to me. I think the man who is healthy is the wealthiest human being on earth. This is what I feel. This is what anybody, if you ask them in reality, the person would like to be healthy. And thinking about lots of things. Did you try level best in your film? Yes. Did you give your level best? Now the film doesn't work. It's okay. Release it. Don't take pressure. Go ahead. I will give this advice to him and I will tell myself the same. It's okay. If it's done, let's prepare for BMCM 2. That's it. But it. But not with health. Like I'll tell you something, I'm not an actor. I would give my level best, but if someone tells me that I have to put on weight and do a role, I won't be able to do it. I can do up to 4-5 kilos. But I can't do 25-22 kilos. I wouldn't take anything on my health. Because your physical health is good. That's why your mental health is good. Absolutely. This is very important. If my physical health is not good, then what will I do with that money? What will I do with that money? Have you I do by making it a hit? Have you ever gone for therapy? No. People come. Have you ever gone for therapy? Physical therapy or mental therapy? Mental therapy. No, not for now. Physical therapy. Physical therapy means massages, physiotherapy, sports therapy. All these kind of therapies. Is there a load on the body during shooting an action film? Because you are doing stunts. Actually the biggest load is you know what, when you have to sit in between shots, the body cools down. Then they expect us to, you have to kick, and after 3 kicks, you have to punch him punch, and then jump. They don't understand we have to now start warming up ourselves. Because without warm-up, something will happen here, something will happen to your groin, something will happen to your knees. And that's the worst part of action. So I always believe that the bigger the shot, you can take it with five cameras. So that we can finish that shot rather than taking it in pieces. He also prefers giving longer shots than smaller shots. Even Jackie Chan also. Even Bruce Lee also. They would all prefer to give long shots rather than small shots. I feel that Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan are the best in our country. Absolutely. Who are you talking in front of? No, no. What are you talking in front of? He's a much much better version than me. This kind of athleticism is not normal. That's a big compliment, genuinely. The kind of flips you do, it's not easy or normal. And the best part is, what I learnt from him is, sleeping is the best thing. Sleeping. I like the fact that this guy, Because sometimes I sleep at 11 or 12 o'clock during shooting. Then I tell myself that I have to wake up at 4 or 4.30. No. I will also sleep for 8 hours. Or I will cover up in the afternoon. But it is true. 8 hours of sleep is a must for every human being's body. How did this happen? How did you put so much athleticism in your body? You were already like that. As far as I remember, from school, I was a nalla in studies. But, regarding sports... How happy you are from a nalla. You are a nalla. But, about sports... He's so happy to see the bow. He's got a bow rod. About sports... Any sport I used to touch, I was excelling. And... So, I used to go to school because I could play sports with friends or take part in competitions. I used to get a lot of attention from you know Girls. Girls because of the level I was at for my age. And I guess I would like to give credit to my mom and dad because Genetics? Yeah, I guess genetics play a big factor in it. I keep telling my sister unfortunately for her she was always the opposite of me. So she never got the physical ability I got, but she got the brains. But yeah, I remember one day I was watching TV, I was 4 years old. And Enter the Dragon was coming on TV. So after that, I don't know what triggered in me but I... I was sitting with my mom and dad and I said... I want to be like this. I want to do this. Can you... How do I do this? So, then I enrolled into... They got me into karate class and... I picked up very fast. And I was taking on, you know... You know, I was doing things that were very difficult for a... Yeah, were not normal. Not normal for a kid my age to do. So, I just picked up on that and I am very thankful that I didn't move away from that direction. You know, I didn't go left right or anything. I sort of held on to it and gave me an identity. I think whatever I am today, the little I have achieved in my life, it's because of my physical ability. I can feel his wicket sunny energy. When you were shooting for wicket sunny, were you really wicket sunny during the shooting? When you were shooting for Wicked Sunny, were you really Wicked Sunny? See actually, if you see Dev Dhanadan, Bhagam Bhag, Wicked Sunny, Raju of Hera Pheri, they are of the same genre. But they come from, someone is rich, someone is poor, someone is mediocre, someone is this. But their thinking is the same. Harami. Yeah, so exactly. So that is what the someone is this. But their thinking is the same. Harami. Exactly. So that is what the whole thinking is. So, and in life also, I think of fun a lot. I mean, I will think of something which is completely out of the box. I cannot, a lot of dialogues, he also knows that, the ones you see in movies, they are not written. On the spot. They are written from within me. And you can figure it out, you can say that this writer... Because no writer can write. Is it true that the person who is funny in real life, can actually do comedy well? Like is that a pre-requirement of comedy? It can be. I know some people who are funny and then they they cannot deliver the comedy like that. It's a very... Comedy is a very inbuilt thing which somebody has to tap it. Like if someone tapped from inside me,, it was Priya Darshan. If someone tapped me, it was two more people, Rajkumar Santoshi. Then there was another writer, Neeraj Vohra. So these three people made me feel that I can do it. I have felt that I can do it. Otherwise, I have been doing action films since my beginning of career. I never knew that I would be able to do something in another genre in life. But brother, the lines are right. Your timing is everything. The way he times his dialogues. I have done this film with you. It is in you too. I don't feel that. I am saying that it is in you too. If someone will take it out, then he will take it out from you. You will see it one day in your career very soon. I saw this in a movie, Flying Jet. It got a PDK. I said someone will take it out. But I am telling you it's timing. The timing sir possesses is very difficult. The line is very thin, very fine. If you go up and down a little, it doesn't hit you. Sir, the way he leaves the line on the line. Do one film with Priya Darshan ji. Rajkumar Santoshi ji. Do you remember Undertaker and the player of the player? Yes. For many, that is a core Akshay Kumar memory. Yes, I remember it. I remember it too. My back remembers it too. What happened to him? It broke. So you lifted him? Yeah. It's crazy. I was mad. Wow. He was somewhere around 425 pounds or something. And I just went ahead and I decided that I won't lift him. And I had to lift him and put a sword in his body. So I did it. Everything happened. After three days, I said something. And then I took it for traction and I had Slipdisk. Is it still good? It's still very good. But what do you remember about that film? Have you ever thought that it will become such a cult film? No, I mean, if it gets its name, then it's Slipdisk. Not legacy? Not legacy, he had already started breaking the legacy. Do you think about legacy? No. Not at all? No, I don't think about it. Now just work. Just work. Work. I have four things in my prayer, which if someone likes it, they can take. Happiness, there are four S's. Happiness, peace, service, health. These are the four things. Happiness, peace, service, and health. There are four things. In life, hold on to these four things. I tell you, next time someone comes, ask about these 4 things. Your podcast will be even bigger. Please, don't talk about death. Talk about health a little. There is fitness in the heart too. There is fitness in the heart too. Cardio. There is spiritual fitness, mental fitness, physical fitness. There is fitness for everything. Give us break up advice, sir. What break up advice do you want? What is break up advice generally? Because the guys are watching this episode. How do you deal with break up? How do you deal with break up, Tiger sir? How do you deal with break up? You are asking the wrong person, brother. I have been in one relationship my whole life. How do you break up? It depends if you are at the receiving end or if you triggered that thing. Really depends on that. So specifically what are you asking? Are you on the receiving end or what? Mostly, guys are on the receiving end. Mostly. How many breakups have you had in your life? Mine? Not even one, sir. I'm a very monk type. I'm a very monk type. No. I've had three dangerous ones. You've had them, right? Yes. How did you do that? Then I'll tell you. I? I became a Devdas for a while. After that everything got better with time. Martial arts, meditation, sleep, physical fitness, yoga. I focused on all these things. Career, money. I don't know. When I broke up once or twice, I used to exercise more. Channelize your energy. Because there is so much of anger, so much of this thing. So you have to channelize it. And I get into workout more. I have to eat food too. So I think that is the way a martial artist would do. I believe that is the only a martial artist would do. I guess. I believe that is the only way we can, we understand. Focus on career more? I guess in a way you realize you can give yourself more time. You know, so I think that's why all the energy gets, you know, whatever energy you're given there comes back here with yourself. And then you... You fulfill everything in that way. I think that's... From what perspective do you see your career now? Actually, this is a rude question but still. From what perspective do you see money now? At this stage. When I started my career, when I didn't have money, I used to look at it very carefully. That I want to achieve. Now, with the grace of God, I have that much. I am very happy. It's not like I want to eat the producers' children. It's not like I'm going to eat the producers' children. It's not like that. So I feel very happy and content about it in life. Enjoying money? Enjoying money, yes, I enjoy money. I enjoy money. The most important for me is the holidays which I plan with my family. Like in my life, every three months, I have a holiday with my family. It's a matter of yesterday. I was planning my holiday in Tanzania. I want to go. What is your advice for the younger generation? My advice for the younger generation is that it is your hard earned money. Hold it on. Invest sensibly. In earning more money, don't spoil your health. Keep your health. Work hard. Give your best. But the way you are giving best to work is the same thing you should give to your fitness also. And to your body also. It's important because that money which you're going to earn, you have to enjoy it also. You know, for me, my daughter is 11 years old. And for me, forget about me, my biggest pressure comes from my daughter that she wants me to run faster than her. My son wants me to run faster than him, swim faster than him, climb a rock faster than him. That is a huge pressure. Sports day, my daughter tells me, daddy you have to win. The other kids who come with 11 year old kids, they are 33 years old. They are like him. 33, 34. How can I not win a gold medal? But that is a pressure. And that pressure, I like it. I want to. Another pressure is I have to work with this man. I have to... I will not be able to match with him. But I have to keep up with him. Actually it's the other way around. No, no, this is the truth and fact. I'm talking because it's an honest show. Am I right? Yes. So, I have to be like that. Okay. This was the podcast. This was it. Did you enjoy it? It was great. Don't you talk about BMCM? BMCM? What was that? Don't leave me. Sorry, I heard PMCM. PMCM. Ever since you got the award, you have gone crazy. Well, I just need an interview where they have kept mangoes. They have kept mangoes? Yes. That vibe. Will you eat mangoes? Yes, I kept mangoes. Will you eat mangoes? Yes, I like mangoes very much. You like it? Who doesn't like it? Our country's mangoes are very good. Alphanso, who doesn't like mangoes? Do you like mangoes? Yes sir. You are not making fun of mangoes. No, no, no. Mangoes are my favorite. Please sir, mango You are my favorite. You are my favorite. Please sir, you are my favorite. I hope the podcast doesn't get stopped. And I haven't asked about BMCM. We should tell him that our producer has heard that song in BMCM. What is the title track? Party Wala? Big or small? Title track? Yes. Tere Piche Tere Yaar Khada Yes, how it starts. Badeh Miya Choteh Miya But do you know that we made an Arabic song also? Walla Habib na bhaji? Yes, Walla Habib. Yeah, Arabic version. You only made me. That's it. Have you ever heard an Arabic song? Hindi. Have you heard an Hindi song? Which song? The song from Bluffmaster. Which song? Usnes dos, asara kapora, asnas dero, khaili rozi tu da. That was the original? I don't know. Will it be original or will it be made later? No idea, sir. I'm still in a dream state because the podcast is over. I'm sitting in front of you. It's a very cute moment for me. Love this. It was really nice to do this podcast with you. I've done this podcast for the first time. Did you find anything different? Actually, it's the same. There are 5-6 cameras. It's the same. But your questions are good. And it's innovative. It's the same. But your questions are good. And it's innovative, it's new. And I like the fact that you don't sit with a board. It's in your mind and you have done your homework so well. Your questions are very deep. Very different. You know, you get into it. You put your finger in it. I really like to put my finger in. Yes, put it in the right place. Audience wants the finger to enter. Yes, on the heart, on the mind, on the mind. So, if you do it, you get a very good answer. And with you, I'll tell you, the person has to be very honest. As in, the person who is sitting in front of me. The person who is sitting in front of you. And that, that is fun. I just want to tell the audience that often, before the shoot starts, the reality is revealed to the guests. Like Tiger Bhai, Akshay Bhai are, they are exactly like that, even off camera. So, these were great... You keep a hamper and give us a hamper. Who do you think is honest? Take this, honest hamper. I kept it for Kareena Kapoor. You are both bros, my hugs are the hampers for you. You got me to work in a cheap way. This was your honesty. My love is for you, hampers, hugs. Thank you. Big brothers, enjoyed it a lot. And I hope to speak to you again. You're a nice boy actually. Even though you're a shy one. That's fine. Everyone is like that. What do you think? That BJ cameraman sitting behind you, he has picked you up twice and taken you away. He's less shy than you. Okay, it's on air. Okay, great. Thank you guys. Keep killing it. Should I put a song for you? Yes. Listen to this Arabic song. Welcome to the world of the unseen. But in the end, the killarry and the scene depart. Set now. Now listen to its wording. This is an Arabic version What the **** Oh my God Why did you say that? Okay Woo I don't know what to say. Say it. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. Yeah! I'm not a fan of the old days I'm not a fan of the old days So friends, this was today's podcast. It was fun, right? I also had fun. I have to do more podcasts with these two. A kind of positive energy has rubbed off on me after this podcast. That's all I'll say. Often when we go to shoot, sometimes the energy drains, sometimes energy boosts. After shooting this episode, I got a huge energy boost. It says a lot about both these gentlemen. That is their actual nature. Both are brothers of brothers. Both are completely honest. Off camera, they are very humble. That's the most important thing. I had a lot of fun in today's podcast. And I hope to speak to both these gentlemen is very humble. That's the most important thing. I enjoyed today's podcast. And I hope to speak to both these gentlemen very very soon. TRS will be back. Please go and watch Bade Mia Chhote Mia. Boomshakala. We'll see you next time.
